Compulsory Third Party (NSW CTP Greenslip)

Compulsory Third Party Insurance, also known as CTP or Greenslip, provides compensation for other people injured by your vehicle when you or the person driving your vehicle is the driver at fault in an accident. A valid and current CTP Greenslip is required to register (or renew) your vehicle registration in NSW.

The CTP Greenslip covers other road users including passengers, pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists and your passengers. The cover also includes injuries caused through the use of a trailer. Your CTP Greenslip does not cover you for personal injury if you are the driver at fault or the damage to other vehicles or property.

Getting a Greenslip quote is a three-step job

• Photograph or scan your registration papers and the vehicle owner's driver's licence. Your RMS Customer Number and VIN is required if you do not have a current registration plate.
• Email the images to michael.luc@lakemacquarieinsurance.com.au with the youngest driver's date of birth
• Include your preferred contact number if you'd like a call back
